Oakley’s fleece is a beautiful soft ultrafine alpaca fleece. It has been skirted to remove much of the vegetable matter and primary fibres and is unwashed. The mid side sample tested at a mean of 17.4 microns, making it the perfect fleece to spin that lace-like yarn. The fleece length is approximately 85 mm in length.

Popeye’s fleece is an extremely soft superfine alpaca fleece. It has been skirted to remove much of the vegetable matter and primary fibres and is unwashed. The mid side sample tested at a mean of 19.9 microns and is the perfect fleece for spinning superfine yarn. The fleece length is approximately 90 mm in length.

Evie’s fleece is the softest of soft ultrafine alpaca fleece. It has been skirted to remove much of the vegetable matter and primary fibres and is unwashed. The mid side sample tested at a mean of 17.3 microns. You will be spinning this beautifully soft fleece into a 2 ply or less yarn. The fleece length is approximately 80 mm in length.

Alpaca fleece comes in a wonderful array of natural colours, from blacks, greys, browns, fawns and of course white. But the sky is the limit when it comes to white fleece, because you can dye white fleece any colour you desire.
